About Us
Mentored by Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians, renowned collegiate professors, and other world-class faculty, our students are exposed to unconstrained musical exploration in a fun and engaging atmosphere. This Conservatory Program utilizes a robust five-level curriculum, combining private study, chamber music, and theory/ear training.
Our program challenges and grows with students; whether they are picking up an instrument for the first time or are looking to enter the most prestigious music conservatories in the world. Lessons are offered in piano, violin, viola, voice, guitar, and other orchestral and band instruments. New Music School offers lessons for all ages including adults and early childhood held at our school located at 900 N Michigan Ave Level 6 in Chicago; onsite or online.

Our Programs
What we offer
NMS offers college preparatory and collegiate levels of study for students 18 and under - based on our uniquely distinguished NMS Curriculum.
NMS offers Music Together for ages 4 and under and an Adult Program.
Each New Music School academic year is divided into two 16-week semesters in the fall and spring, and two 8-week semesters in the summer, not including breaks.
